Game wholesaler GTS Distribution has entered into an agreement to purchase Hauppauge, New York-based Global Enterprises.  Located on Long Island, the acquisition gives GTS a second distribution location within 100 miles of New York City; GTS also operates a warehouse in Allentown, Pennsylvania.  

Global Enterprises was founded in 2000 by Ed Storey, and focused on trading cards, trading card games, and related products. 

GTS announced that all existing staff at Global Enterprises would join their team. “We would like to thank all of our customers for their loyalty, friendship and support over the years,” said Ed Storey, Owner of Global Enterprises. “My staff looks forward to continuing working with you as part of the GTS team.”

This gives GTS 12 locations across the U.S. The company announced at the end of last year it was moving its Florida warehouse to Jacksonville, Florida (see “GTS Moving Florida Warehouse”).
