Stonemaier Games has announced Charterstone, a village-building, legacy-style game.

In the semi-cooperative campaign game designed by Jamey Stegmaier (Viticulture, Euphoria, Scythe), players are building a new village in the outskirts of the Kingdom of Greengully. Each player has a unique set of skills (including secret skills) they can use to help construct buildings.  Each building becomes a permanent action space that all player can utilize with a worker placement mechanic. Since it is a campaign game, the buildings remain constant from game to game. As the village grows actions become more numerous.  Each new campaign reveals one new advancement (new rule, card type, or component) which remain in effect for subsequent games. The game ends when players have placed all their workers, and then victory points are scored.

The game is for 1 – 6 players, ages 10 and up, and campaigns play in 20 – 60 minutes. Release date and MSRP were not announced.
