The launching of the new Josie & the Pussycats comic, which chronicles the aspirations of a high-energy, all-female rock trio, is part of an on-going process than began last year with the rebooting of Archie’s core titles (see “Archie Adds Three Titles to Riverdale Reboot” & “Jughead Reboot Launches in October”). This on-going revamp of the classic Archie Comics line should be aided in Q4 by the launching of the Archie Comics-based Riverdale TV series, which is set to debut on the CW Network in the fall (see “Mid-May Geek TV Round-Up: Supergirl and Riverdale to the CW”).
