BOOM! Studios announced a new fulfillment model for its webstore. The publisher will partner with Discount Comic Book Service (DCBS) for fulfillment of print subscriptions and merchandise orders from its website.
"We’re thrilled to partner with the team at DCBS," said BOOM! Studios President of Publishing and Marketing Filip Sablik. "Their dedication to customer service and rapid, accurate fulfillment is second-to-none. By partnering with Cameron, Christina, and the rest of the team at DCBS, even fans who don’t have a local comic shop near them worldwide will be able to enjoy all of our great titles."
DCBS is the largest online comic subscription service in the U.S. and is one of Diamond Comics Distributors’ largest accounts both domestically and abroad.
"We are very excited about partnering with BOOM! for their webstore and subscription order fulfillment," said DCBS Co-owner, Christina Merkler. "BOOM! has a history of being an industry innovator and they continue to produce great content with fantastic production value. We look forward to working with them to take care of those customers that may not have access to a local comic shop."
Image Comics recently announced a similar online deal with DCBS (see "Image Now Using DCBS for Subs").
