Following the news about their late summer and autumn 2016 catalog (see "Humanoids' Fall Releases"), Humanoids Inc. has unveiled two new titles for January 2017.

First up is an English language edition of 2004's Nirta Omirli written by Jean-David Morvan with illustrations by Bachan.  Originally published in two separate tomes entitled "A Cruel Game" and "I'm Everywhere," Nitra has been rechristened Off-World Blues for its American debut.  A political, science fiction adventure story, Off-World Blues is set in 2999 as an elite group of female commandos is stranded on a warring planet of indigenous peoples and human colonists they left in peace sixteen years prior.  The hardcover collection will retail for $24.95.

Next for Humanoids is a softcover edition of Humanoids'  November 2013 publication The Ring of the Seven Worlds, a 236-page collection of four separate volumes released digitally in March 2014. Written by Giovanni Gualdoni and Gabriele Clima, and art from Matteo Piana and Davide Turotti, The Ring of the Seven Worlds is another French language title from Les Humanoides Associes,L'Anneau des 7 Mondes, which premiered in 2003.  A tale of intergalactic war, a genre Humanoids truly succeeds at with their diverse science fiction line up, The Ring of the Seven Worlds finds unlikely heroes in teenagers Timo and Luce as they are thrust into an ancient conflict as the interdimensional gates that link the seven worlds are reopened.  The trade paperback retails for $24.95.
