Greenbrier Games will release the stand-alone tower defense game Zpocalypse 2: Defend The ‘Burbs in Spring 2017.  The original, Zpocalypse 1, was released in 2012; Zpocalypse 2 was funded by a Kickstarter in August 2015 which raised $63,447 from 617 backers ($102.83 / backer average).

In the game, players control a squad of post-apocalyptic survivors who have left the city for the relative safety of the suburbs. They must defend the house from the nightly assaults of the zombies while also carrying out the daily tasks of survival. As they survivors gain experience they gain skills, and as they complete their daily tasks they may be rewarded with more supplies. Unlike the previous game, players have the ability to carve out their survival scenario instead of following a set path.  The game also features modular tiles so there is variety in every game.

Some rules are different from those of Zpocalypse 1:  players in the expansion can now split up their squads, and the attack dice system has changed.

The game is for 2 – 5 players. MSRP will be between $60 - $80.
