20th Century Fox has partnered with Hasbro to remake Clue, a movie based on the classic board game, the Tracking Board is reporting.

The remake was previously set up at Universal Studios with director Gore Verbinski attached, but nothing has been heard from that project since 2009 (see “'Pirates' Helmer Gets a 'Clue'”). This new iteration will be produced by Hasbro Studios’ Josh Feldman, executive produced by Ryan Jones, and Daria Cercek overseeing for Fox.

The original 1985 adaptation was written by John Landis and directed by Jonathan Lynn. The campy comedy mystery starred Chrisopher Lloyd, Madelaine Kahn and Tim Curry. The film featured three different endings (for different murders).
