At Gen Con, Ninja Division shared information on several upcoming releases, which we round up here.

Super Dungeon: Arena was a downloadable battle system Ninja Division released two years ago. It was very popular. Now Ninja Division plans to release this player vs. player version of Super Dungeon Explorer as a full expansion with five unique challenges. There will be 1 new mini, boards, tiles dice and counter. Release is planned for October. MSRP is $60.00.

Rainbow Knights is Ninja Division’s first child-friendly game. The fanciful card-based racing game is primarily about speedy completion while also avoiding obstacles that may end the skyward race. The game is for 2 – 6 players and plays in 60 seconds. MSRP is $15.00.

The Space Dandy deck-building game was funded via Kickstarter and will be released by Shinobi 7, the new joint venture of Ninja Division and Seven Seas manga at the end of September (see “Seven Seas and Ninja Division Form New Game Company”). After the Kickstarter run is exhausted, Shinobi 7 will release an unlimited edition at a lower MSRP at a date TBD (note, this sentance was updated with new information as of August 19, 2016--ed.).  

Mage Company’s post-apocalyptic survival game Raid & Trade will be released in October (see “Ninja Division to Distribute Several Mage Company Games”). Designed by Charalampos Tsakiris, players must complete quests, hone skills, and climb the social ladder to prove their worth to enter a Golden City - the last bastion of civilization after the third world war.  The game is for 3 – 6 players, though only 5 come with the base game. MSRP is $80.00.

Ninja Division also plans to re-release the Caverns of Roxor expansion for Super Dungeon Explorer updated with the 2nd Edition rules. The cards will be reconfigured and the miniatures will feature new sculpts. MSRP is $60.00.

Way of the Fighter is a new expandable card and dice game.  Described as “Street Fighter meets board game,” the game is designed by Ben Yamada and will be Kickstarted in September. The card game is for two players, or four players can tag-team for a more dynamic game. The game includes ten fighters, boards, ten standees and dice. MSRP is $50.00. Additional fighter sets will be available for $15.00. The game will release at Gen Con 2017.
