The four elements combine in Rather Dashing’s new strategy board game Element, releasing this December.

Using tokens representing the four traditional elements of fire, water, earth, and air, the players of Element seek to surround their opponent’s sages.  Each element has different properties, which can limit the ability of other players to move their pieces.  The four elements can even be converted into one another or sacrificed to help a sage avoid being captured.

Element was designed by the team of Mike Richie and Grant Wilson (Dwarven Miner, Four Taverns).  It includes a game board, 4 sculpted sage figures, 120 element stones, and an embroidered bag.  Element is for 2 to 4 players, ages 14 and up, and plays in about half an hour.  MSRP is $34.99.

Rather Dashing recently released another Richie-Wilson collaboration, the dice game We Come in Peace (see “‘We Come in Peace’”).
