Election year always produces pop-culture parody. This year it happened with comics (see “Confessions of a Comic Book Guy - Everything's Political”), it happened with Cards Against Humanity’s America Votes expansion packs,  and now a new partisan card game has emerged: Trumped up Cards: The World’s Biggest Deck.

The game is designed by Reid Hoffman, co-founder of LinkedIn.  The game pokes fun at presidential candidate Donald Trump. Players draw 10 white cards, which contains potential ways to complete a phrase from the deck of blue cards, which is drawn by the CEO (Card Evaluating Officer) for the round. The players submit a potential answer from their hands, and the CEO choses the winner. Beware, there are powerful Trump Cards in the white card deck, which contain “larger-than-average” powers.  The winner of the round gets the blue card, and the first player to spell out V-O-T-E in blue cards wins the game.

The deck consists of 550 total cards: 420 white cards, 90 blue cards, and 40 Trump Cards. The game costs $20.16 plus shipping.

Currently, the only place to purchase the game is at trumpedupcards.com, but in the FAQ section they offer a “tremendous deal” if a buyer purchases 50 or more copies and provides a contact email for bulk buyers.
