Hasbro will release the Trading Card Game based on the popular kids property Yo-kai Watch to hobby stores in October.
Hasbro announced the release of the TCG in June (see “Hasbro Releasing 'Yo-kai Watch' TCG”), though the game was exclusive to Walmart when it launched on August 1. Now Hasbro will release the Starter Packs, Blind Booster Packs to trade.
The Yo-kai Watch Trading Card Game Starter Packs contains 40 Yo-kai Watch trading cards, a play mat, a rule sheet and 2 Yo-Kai Watch medals. The cards include 2 foil cards and 38 fixed cards. There are two Starter Decks: Blazion and Zomajiro and Jibanyan and Walkappa. The game is for players 6 and up. MSRP is $12.99.
The Yo-kai Watch Trading Card Game Blind Booster Pack includes 10 Yo-kai Watch trading cards, including 6 common cards, 3 uncommon cards and foil rare card. MSRP is $3.99 a pack.

The Yo-kai Watch Trading Card Game: Collection Box is a decorated box for storage that comes with 4 Yo-kai Watch TCG Blind Booster Packs and an exclusive Yo-kai Watch metal. MSRP is $19.99. Up until this point the Collection Box has been exclusive to Walmart.
The second season of the animated series premiered on Disney XD on August 1 (see "'Yo-kai Watch' Announces Second Season").
