CoolMiniOrNot will release two new battling games in Q1 2017: Gekido: Bot Battles and Kingz.

Gekido: Bot Battles gives players the chance to prove they have the best bot battle moves in a 30-minute arena battle royal. Each player commands one of six robots, and each round, the bots lock onto a target and roll dice to execute attacks. Combining cunning moves and swift strikes allows players to activate secret powers of the arena. The last bot standing wins.

The box contains 6 box control panels, 28 structure dice, 6 programming dice, 46 tech cards, 9 arena tiles, 18 target lock tokens, and 6 pre-painted bots. The game is for 2 – 4 players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 30 minutes. MSRP is $64.99.

In January, the bluffing battle game Kingz will release. The king of the jungle is dead and some animal must take his place. Players will secretly choose an action card from their hand and then all players reveal their card simultaneously. The action may be to launch an attack, defend themselves, or play to the crowd. The goal is to earn reputation points or be the last animal standing. After two rounds, a new king is crowned.

The box contains 5 screens, 5 power cards, 45 action cards, 1 rage card, 21 reputation point tokens, 15 armor tokens, 16 bravery toke4ns, and 1 dry-erase marker. The game is for 2 – 5 players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 15 minutes. MSRP is $24.99.
