Marvel superheroes face off against giant monsters in the new Monsters Unleashed limited series and eight oversized one-shot crossovers, starting with Spider-Man / Deadpool and Avengers on January 25.

Spider-Man / Deadpool #1.MU is written by Joshua Corin and drawn by Tigh Walker. In the issue, fan-favorite odd couple Spider-Man and Deadpool take on one of the monsters threatening the Marvel Universe.  Dave Johnson draws the main cover.

In Avengers #1.MU, writer Jim Zub and artist Sean Izaakse pit Earth’s Mightiest Heroes against the monster rampage.  David Nakayama provides the main cover.

The books tie in with Monsters Unleashed, a 5-issue limited series written by Cullen Bunn and featuring artwork by five artists (see "Marvel Unleashes the Monsters").  Steve McNiven draws issue #1. Ken Niimura, Francesco Francavilla, Jeehyung Lee, Mike Mignola, Geoff Darrow, and others to be announced provide variant covers.
