Marvel Comics will bring widescreen action and epic destruction to local comic stores with the Monsters Unleashed Launch Parties to accompany the launch of Monsters Unleashed #1 on January 18.

Marvel has been planning big things for the Monsters Unleashed event (see “Marvel Plans Retail Support for 'Monsters Unleashed'”). The Monsters Unleashed Party Kit will contain exclusive promotional materials and sales tools including the Monsters Unleashed Sketchpad (bundle of 25), a 64-page book featuring coloring pages and blank sketch pages. The kit also includes Monsters Unleashed invitational postcards, Monsters Unleashed lithographs, a downloadable cake topper, access to exclusive first looks and previews, deep ordering discount and access to the Monsters Unleashed Art Adams Party Sketch Variant.

Retailers must opt-in by December 5 to participate.
