Queen Games has added two more titles to its already busy January release schedule:  Gluex and Armageddon.

Designed by Jakob Andrusch (Affenzirkus, Splish Splash Catapult), Gluex is an area-control style family game.  Players try to light up the rooms on the game board with their light chips, scoring points by having the brightest lights in the room.

Gluex includes a double-sided game board, 96 light chips, and 4 cloth bags.  The game is for 2 to 4 players, ages 8 and up, and plays in about 30 minutes.  MSRP is $39.90.

Created by Chris Marling (Empire Engine) and David Thompson (Allegiance), Armageddon is a combination bidding and worker placement game which places players in a post-apocalyptic world, trying to rebuild civilization from the ruins of the past while keeping their workers from turning against them.

Armageddon includes 1 main game board, 4 city boards, 66 tiles, 88 cards, 109 wooden playing pieces, 4 player screens, and a cloth bag.  It can be played by 3 or 4 players, and is recommended for ages 14 and up.  Playing time is about an hour and a half.  MSRP is $64.90.

Also planned for January release are these previously announced titles:  London Markets, Mighty Monsters, Risky Adventure, World Monuments, Spooky Castle, and Super-Vampire (see “Seven Summer Releases from Queen Games”).
