Valiant is offering special editions of the first three issues of its new X-O Manowar ongoing, by writer Matt Kindt and artist Tomas Giorello, for fans that order all three issues in advance.

In a first-of-its kind offering (according to Valiant’s announcement), anyone who orders the X-O Manowar Pre-Order Edition Bundle by January 26 will receive oversized editions of the first three issues in the series, encompassing the “Soldier” story arc.

An additional eight pages will be included in each issue, featuring bonus content such as creator commentary, behind-the-scenes material, and character concepts. The Pre-Order Edition of #1 will be out on March 22, alongside the 40-page regular edition. The second issue will follow on April 26, and the third on May 24. All will feature variant covers by Giorello.

Fans will not be able to opt into the program for later issues; it is only being offered until the January 26 cutoff.

Valiant announced the creative team and details for the series just last week (see “Valiant Reveals Details for New 'X-O Manowar' Ongoing”). In the first story arc, Aric of Dacia will find himself torn from his peaceful existence and forced to take up the X-O Manowar armor once again in an interplanetary battle.
