The BBC aired a trailer for the 10th Season of Doctor Who during the Christmas Special, introducing the new companion, played by Pearl Mackie (see “BBC’s ‘Doctor Who’ Reveals New Companion”).  This will be the final season for showrunner Steven Moffatt, who’s announced he’s leaving the show (see “Shake-Up at ‘Doctor Who’”).
