Marvel Comics will debut All-New Guardians of the Galaxy #1 in May, just in time for the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 movie debut (see “New 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' Teaser Trailer.”) The series will be written by Gerry Duggan (Deadpool, Uncanny Avengers), with art by Aaron Kuder (Death of X). The first issue will feature a cover by Kuder and Ive Svorcina.

It’s a brand-new start for Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket Raccoon, and Groot. After an extended stay on Earth, the Guardians return to the stars. But there have been some changes since the team hit atmo: Drax has sworn off violence, and Groot can’t regenerate. Plus they’ve stumbled right into a war between the Elders of the Universe.
