The Collected Will Eisner’s John Law is coming from Titan Comics' Hard Case Crime imprint.
Will Eisner produced John Law Detective in 1948, but the issue was never released. In 1950, some of the original art was reworked for the Spirit.
In 2002, Gary Chaloner created stories with the character for a online comic site, leading to a 2004 hardcover collection from IDW Publishing featuring new work and Eisner’s classic stories (see “Bob Andelman on Will Eisner”).
The Collected Will Eisner’s John Law will include original stories by Will Eisner, Chaloner’s reboot, a previously unpublished John Law story, and a forward by Eisner publisher Denis Kitchen. The 152-page black-and-white hardcover will be available March 4, 2025, at a suggested price of $24.99.
