Renegade Game Studios’ Lanterns: The Harvest Festival, which launched in May, has sold through 10,000 copies in two printings (the last in under a week) with a third on the way, the company announced. Lanterns is a tile placement game set in imperial China, and sells for $35 (see “Renegade Partners with Foxtrot Games”).
Rio Grande Games’ Roll for the Galaxy, the dice game version of Race for the Galaxy (see “New ‘Race for the Galaxy’ Game”), came out last Fall, and has sold through 23,000 copies since release, Rio Grande’s Jay Tummelson told ICv2. The game retails for $59.99.
