Plans for Cars 3 and The Incredibles 2 were discussed, but neither film has been scheduled.

Universal Pictures has scheduled the sequel for its summer blockbuster Jurassic World sequel (June 22, 2018), which will see Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard reprise their roles. The screenplay will be written by Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow and his writing partner Derek Connolly.

Warner Bros. announced it is working on an animated feature based on the classic Scooby-Doo. Where are You! Hanna-Barbera cartoon. It has reserved September 21, 2018 for a theatrical release. The film will be produced by the Warner Animation Group , the same production company behind the blockbuster The Lego Movie, according to Variety.

In interesting-but-not-yet-scheduled film news, Envision Media Arts is developing an animated film based on PEZ candy and their collectible dispensers, Variety reported.
