Flying Frog Productions will release the Frontier Town Expansion for its Shadows of Brimstone adventure boardgame in February, following two swamp-creature themed Enemy Packs in January.

Shadows of Brimstone:  Frontier Town Expansion builds on the “in town” aspect of the game.  A new Town Adventure Board allows players to have their adventures in a Wild West style town, while new opportunities await them if they visit towns between adventures.  Frontier Town adds new town types, including Plague Town, Outlaw Town, and Mutant Town, as well as six new Town Locations.  An expanded Travel Chart and a new Bandit enemy are also included.

The expansion will include new cards, counters, charts, and missions for the game.  As an expansion, a copy of the base game is needed to play.  MSRP is $49.95.

In January, Flying Frog will release two Enemy Packs for Shadows of Brimstone, each containing plastic models and game cards for adding new enemies to the Swamps of Jargono and the Mines.  The Serpentmen of Jargono Deluxe Enemy Pack includes six serpentmen and two new missions centered around them.  MSRP is $39.95.  The Swamp Slugs of Jargono Enemy Pack features three giant Swamp Slugs.  MSRP is $19.95.

Earlier this year, Flying Frog released the Caverns of Cynder Expansion, as well as a number of Enemy Packs (see “‘Shadows of Brimstone’ and ‘Dark Gothic’ Expansions”).
