Dark Horse will release Brendan McCarthy’s hallucinatory comic creation Dream Gang on July 27.
McCarthy (2000 AD, Spider-Man: Fever, Strange Days) is known for his psychedelic illustration style, and has worked in Hollywood as a storyboard artist and visual consultant on films like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990), Coneheads, and Lost in Space. He also co-wrote Mad Max: Fury Road. Now Dark Horse is collecting his story published in Dark Horse Presents into an original graphic novel. MSRP is $14.99.
One night a young man is having a very vivid dream, and he meets the mysterious Dream Gang, who transform him into a Dream Voyager. The Dream Gang is searching for a destructive dream bomb that has been implanted into one of the man’s lost memories. The memory must be realized and relived to find the bomb before time runs out.
