Valiant has revealed the team behind their long-teased Harbinger Wars 2 crossover event (see “Valiant Teases Another War in Crossover Event”).

The crossover will be penned by New York Times bestselling writer Matt Kindt (X-O Manowar, Mind MGMT) and Academy Award-nominee Eric Heisserer (Secret Weapons, screenwriter of Arrival). It will be drawn by Tomas Giorello (X-O Manowar) and Raul Allen (Secret Weapons). Harbinger Wars 2 is set to begin in May 2018.

Teaser images indicate that Livewire, Bloodshot, X-O Manowar, and Peter Stanchek (Harbinger) will play major roles in the crossover. Heisserer and Allen’s Secret Weapons will debut on June 28, and the series will reportedly influence the events of Harbinger Wars 2 (see “Valiant Reveals 'Secret Weapons'”).

Harbinger Wars 2 will also reportedly launch a few months in advance of Bloodshot, the first film in Valiant’s partnership with Sony (see “Sony Plans Five Valiant Films”). The film is written by Heisserer and directed by Dave Wilson (see “'Escape From New York,' 'Power Rangers 2,' 'Archer & Armstrong,' 'Suicide Squad 2,' More”).
