Ninja Division’s chibi-style outer-space western board game Rail Raiders Infinite will release on August 16, along with a companion dice game called Huckleberry’s Riverboat Roll.  Several mini add-on expansions for Rail Raiders Infinite will also release in the next few months.

Rail Raiders Infinite was announced last year as part of a very successful Kickstarter campaign (see “Pull Off a Sci-Fi Western Train Heist”), featuring a mash-up of space opera and horse opera tropes and a posse worth of chibi-style miniatures from Soda Pop Miniatures.

Ninja Division has announced the final component list, which will include 20 miniatures, 10 custom poker dice, 14 train car boards, 174 cards, and 51 counters.  The game will support 2 to 4 players, ages 14 and up, and takes an hour to an hour-and-a-half to play.  MSRP is $59.95.

Also releasing on the same day, Huckleberry’s Riverboat Roll is a dice game set in the same sci-fi western universe as Rail Raiders Infinite, designed as a sort of companion game.  In Huckleberry’s Riverboat Roll, players use the same custom poker dice as Rail Raiders Infinite, betting on their hands poker-style.  Rules are also included for combining the two games, with the Raiders dicing off for money.  The plastic coins and additional dice can also be used to add more players to Rail Raiders Infinite.

Huckleberry’s Riverboat Roll comes with 30 plastic coins, 20 poker dice, and 4 double-sided “Dice Blind” player screens.  It is intended for 2 to 4 players, ages 14 and up, and takes 60 to 90 minutes to play.  MSRP is $29.95.

Rail Raiders Infinite will be supported by a series of small expansion sets featuring additional character models that can be added to the game.  Each expansion includes one figure in a clear plastic blister.  The first three such expansions have been announced:

• Cowpuncher Candy will release on August 16, with an MSRP of $12.95.

Kingsman will release on September 20.  MSRP is $12.95.

El Cola also releases on September 20, with an MSRP of $9.95.
