Held the Saturday on or before Halloween, 2017 marks the sixth year of the event. On Saturday, October 28, nearly 2,000 comic shops are expected to participate and give away comics to 500,000 fans (see “Halloween ComicFest Goodies Announced”). Stranger Things 2 will be featured on store bags and printed promotional material ahead of the event.
Stranger Things 2 premieres on Netflix on October 27. The show was nominated for 18 Primetime Emmy Awards including Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series and Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. See recent teaser trailer below.
