Created for trade paperbacks and smaller hardcovers, the first set of Marvel Graphic Collection Boxes will feature multiple illustrations of the Marvel bruisers. The boxes allow collectors to store their graphic novels spine up to make browsing for specific titles easier. The boxes will be available on November 15. Each 10-1/2” x 15-1/2” x 7-5/8 box has an MSRP of $12.00.
Given that the first two boxes in the series will be available shortly after the November 3 debut of Thor: Ragnarok (see “Doctor Strange in Latest 'Thor: Ragnarok' Trailer”), the trailers for which feature a much ballyhooed fight between the God of Thunder and the Angry Green Giant, Marvel appears to be using the Graphic Collection Boxes as a promotional tool. The company did the same last year with the release of their Graphic Comic Boxes, which are designed for collecting monthly comics (see “MARVEL BRANDED COMIC BOXES”).
