Southern Hobby Supply has announced that Ingram veteran Trent Harmon will be joining the company as Vice President of Sales and Marketing on September 1, 2107. Harmon will manage sales and marketing functions for the company’s New York, Chicago, and Sales First divisions.
Harmon comes to Southern Hobby from Ingram Book Companies, where he had a 22-year career, most recently as Lead Content Manager for the Ingram Content Group, which offers integrated print and digital, wholesale and distribution services for the book industry. In that role, he was responsible for several hundred supplier accounts, and led a team that worked with Ingram’s POD company Lightning Source to expand distribution for suppliers.
Harmon will be one of two Vice Presidents of Sales and Marketing at Southern Hobby; Cindy Brannam remains as VP-Sales and Marketing managing those functions for the company’s Nashville, St. Louis, and Reno locations. Harmon replaces Adam Lovell, who moved to CMON as General Manager in April (see "Adam Lovell Joins CMON").
