Image Comics is welcoming Sean Edgar as Brand Manager. Edgar will serve as Editor of Image+ (see “Image Plans Monthly Magazine”), moderate official Image Comics panels at Image EXPO and comic conventions, and oversee content development for the Image Comics website.

Edgar spent the last three years as the editor of Paste Magazine, where he wrote extensively about comics. Edgar has also contributed to The Atlantic, NPR, and Stereogum and wrote Art of Over the Garden Wall for Dark Horse.

Edgar replaces departing Branding Manager David Brothers, who began working for Image in June 2013. Brothers, who announced his departure via Twitter, held the position of Branding Manager since July 2015.
