In his 800th issue, the Amazing Spider-Man will face off with the Red Goblin in an oversized 80-page issue. Written by Dan Slott and drawn by Stuart Immonen, along wth artists Humberto Ramos, Giuseppe Camuncoli, and Jim Cheung, Amazing Spider-Man #800 will sport a cover by Alex Ross. It will be in stores on May 30.

The issue marks the end of the “Go Down Swining” arc, which pits Peter Parker against Red Goblin, none other than Peter’s long-time enemy Norman Osborn and the Carnage symbiote.

Amazing Spider-Man #800 marks Slott’s penultimate issue on a ten-year run with the web slinger, which he finishes with #801 before he makes the move to Iron Man (see “Dan Slott Leaving Spider-Man”).
