Ulisses North America is offering a new program for retail stores to support its next Torg Eternity title, The Living Land, which is expected to release in July.

The “Retailer Advantage Program” is intended to improve coordination between Ulisses and games retailers and provide incentives for retailers to participate in the Kickstarter campaigns for future Ulisses products. “Retailers can back the project for $1 to learn more about the program or go to the bottom of the Kickstarter page under About Us and click on the Contact Us Here link,” Ulisses North America Director of Business Development Ian Starcher told ICv2.

The first title to be included in the Retailer Advantage Program will be The Living Land, a new “cosm” book for the Torg Eternity role playing game.  This book will describe the Living Land cosm of the Torg multiverse, which is located along both coasts of the United States.  In this land of spiritual magic and low technology, the Law of Wonders causes lost treasures from cosms to appear.

The book also offers new Perks and Miracles, new gear, dinosaur mounts, and updates to the timeline of the Possibility Wars and the Delphi Council.  Adventure Generation Tables round out the book to help gamemasters craft adventures of their own.

The release of The Living Land will also be supported by two books of adventures called The God Box and Delphi Missions:  Living Land, as well as The Living Land GM Screen.

Ulisses is funding the production of The Living Land through a Kickstarter campaign that rocketed past its $20,000 funding goal in only 21 minutes.  With 19 days remaining in the campaign of this writing, it has attracted $135,386 in pledged support from 762 backers (an average of $177.67 per backer).

According to the publisher, the Kickstarter campaign for Torg Eternity was the largest new launch role playing game Kickstarter in 2017, pulling in more than $355,000 (see “Ulisses Reveals ‘Torg Eternity’ RPG”).
