In the game, players try to catch as many crabs as they can and sell them at the crab market to score victory points. In order to catch a crab, a player uses other cards as rope to tie their crab catch up. Once caught, the crab can be sold to a market vender. Players can also upgrade their crab-catching gear, allowing them to catch and bind crabs using fewer cards, represented by crab-shaped “meeple” tokens.
Crabs was created by the designer known as shane007,and was published originally by Moideas in Taiwan. The game is intended for 2 to 5 players, ages 10 and up, and takes about half an hour to play. MSRP is $20.00.
