It’s been a busy week for geek movies, and we round up the latest news.

Linda Hamilton is more formidable than ever in the pic for Terminator 6, which also includes Dani Ramos (played by Natalia Reyes) and Grace (played by Mackenzie Davis; see “Wakanda Featured in New 'Infinity War' Images, 'Terminator' Casting, 'Star Wars' Composer Talks Retirement, Archie Goes Bollywood”). The as-yet-untitled film is in theaters November 22, 2019.

The Super-Pets are coming to the big screen in an animated film from The LEGO Batman Movie writer Jared Stern (via Collider). Warner Bros. has also hired Stern to direct the feature, but it is unclear whether it will be based on DC’s Legion of Super-Pets comics or the DC Super-Pets shorts from Cartoon Network. Stern may also choose to create new characters. The Legion of Super-Pets first appeared in Adventure Comics #293 (1962), and the original ranks included Krypto the Super-Dog, Streaky the Super-Cat, Comet the Super-Horse, and Beppo the Super-Monkey eventually joined the team. Over the years, other animal superheroes have been part of the team.
