Twentieth Century Fox has revealed a new trailer and poster for Dark Phoenix, building on the initial reveal in September (see “’Dark Phoenix’ Trailer”).  This will be the last of the Fox X-Men movies, with Marvel Studios taking over in the wake of the Disney acquisition of Fox’s movie assets (see “DOJ Approves Disney Acquisition of Fox Assets”).  Marvel Studios head Keven Feige is about to have control of the entire character pantheon. “And the fact that Marvel is as close as we may ever get now to having access to all of the characters, is something I’ve been dreaming about for my almost 20 years at Marvel,” Feige told MTV News last month.

The release date is June 7 (see “Best in Shows Q2 2019”).
