Rising Rampage, the first core booster set of the 2019 -2020 season, was first teased at the GAMA Trade Show last month (see “All-Foil Booster 'Yu-Gi-Oh! Battles of Legend: Hero's Revenge' Revives the Past”). The 100-card booster will include 48 Commons, 20 Rares, 14 Super Rares, 10 Ultra Rares, and 8 Secret Rares.
The new Dueling season means new strategies and new additions for existing ones. The Tenyi martial arts practitioners discard mortal abilities and channel the power of nature, and Blue Maiden’s Ignis-powered Cyberse strategy, direct from Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS, will arrive as well. The Witchcrafters from The Infinity Chasers add Witchcrafter Golem Aruru with this release, which can upgrade any Spellcaster-based Deck with a monster that hides in their hand until the Spellcaster is targeted and then springs to life. Spellcaster-based Decks can also add Fortune Lady Every, a Synchro Monster. Apollousa, Bow of the Goddess, a unique weapon for the Extra Deck, is a Link-4 monster that nocks an arrow for every monster used to Link Summon.
