The art book will include “scandalous tales, family gossip, illegally obtained medical records, behind-the-scenes character designs, sketches, and illustrations” from the creator best known for The Goon series, which has won him multiple Eisner Awards, and is currently celebrating its 20th Anniversary (see “New 'Goon' Series for 20th Anniversary”).
The collection will include unseen childhood drawings, early superhero test pages, and the history of Powell’s Albatross (Exploding) Funnybooks publishing company. Format, page count, and MSRP were not announced at this time. The book debuts in comic shops on October 23, with book store release following on October 29.
