Designed by Ben Kanelos (Red Scare), Blood Feud is a team-based strategy game that supports 4 – 32 players, run by 1 – 2 storytellers who also interact and play in the game. Players take the roles of the warring vampire clans (Venture, Tremere, Gangrel, Toreador) or one of the human factions fighting for their own interests (City Hall, the Mafia, the Arcanum). Players will choose disciplines to give their character unique powers. The storytellers have the option of adding narrative elements to the game. Each team of players will also choose their ambitions, which change the conditions for victory (bloodthirsty, manipulative, greedy, ect).
The game is not played on a single tabletop, but rather, in a large room or two separate rooms with 2 – 4 tables. One table features the Cityscape and Orders map, where players move their forces around the city and engage in territorial battles. The other game table includes the Council and Market, where players use resource management skills and diplomatic arts to make trades, upgrades, level-ups, or participate in large political decision making.
Everything Epic is a tabletop game publisher that has released Big Trouble in Little China: The Game (see “'Big Trouble in Little China: The Game' Adds Expansion,” and will release Rambo: the Board Game this summer (see “'Rambo: The Board Game'”).
