Konami Digital Entertainment’s Yu-Gi-Oh! 2019 North America World Championship Qualifier (WCQ) and 2019 North America Dragon Duel World Championship Qualifier will be held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on June 21-23 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. Duelists from across the United States and Canada will compete for the chance to represent North America at the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG World Championship 2019 and Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Dragon Duel World Championship 2019 in Berlin, Germany.
Top finishers of the North America WCQ will receive 2 Super Rare copies of the YCS Prize Card Chaos Emperor, the Dragon of Armageddon, WCQ Trophy, paid travel and accommodations to the 2019 World Championship with invite to compete, complete sets of Savage Strike and Dark Neostorm, PlayStation 4 Pro System, WCQ Top Cut Game Mat, and several boosters of the most recent sets. All Top 32 finishers will win the YCS Prize Card and Game Mat. All Duelists competing in the main event will be awarded a WCQ 2019 Game Mat and WCQ 2019 Sleeves for participating.
Top two finishers of the North America Dragon Duel WCQ will receive 2 Super Rare copies of the YCS Prize Card, Championship Trophy, paid travel and accommodations to the 2019 Dragon Duel World Championship with invite to compete, complete set of Savage Strike and Dark Neostorm, PlayStation 4 Pro System, Dragon Duel WCQ Top Cut Game Mat, and several booster of the most recent sets. All Duelists competing in the main event of the North America Dragon Duel WCQ will be awarded a Dragon Duel WCQ 2019 Game Mat and WCQ 2019 Sleeves for participating.
Pre-registration for the North America WCQ will be on Friday, June 21 from 3pm -7pm at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. All Duelists who pre-register and submit a valid Deck List will receive one of the new Pre-Registration Dice featuring Spell and Trap icons.
Along with a range of public events, including 2020 Regional Qualifers, Win-A-Mat, Sealed Structure Deck, Sealed Starter Deck, and 3 vs. 3 Team Tournament Play, a Last Chance WCQs on Friday. Only Duelists who do not already have an invite to the North America WCQ may participate in the Last Chance WCQ. In addition to earning prizes for participating in these events, Duelists will receive prize tickets to redeem a the Prize Wall.
Wayne Grayson (voice of Joey Wheeler) and Neil Balaban (voice of Ishizu Ishtar) will be in attendance for a special autograph sessions and a live duel performance. A pop-up store will be onsite all weekend featuring new Yu-Gi-Oh! Branded products from FYE (see "FYE Offering Exclusive Consumables").
