IDW Publishing has announced the November release of Dungeons & Dragons: A Darkened Wish, an original graphic novel written by B. Dave Walters and drawn by Tess Fowler.  Set in the Moonshae Isles, this epic adventure in the Forgotten Realms follows the fortunes of the young wizard Helene as she and her friends grow from raw recruits on the streets of Mintarn into powerful warriors.  Dungeons & Dragons: A Darkened Wish is a full color 120-page graphic novel with a cover price of $17.99.

IDW also plans to release Dungeons & Dragons: Baldur’s Gate 100-Pager, a 100-page color collection that is promotionally-priced at just $5.99.  The Baldur’s Gate comics collected here were written by Jim Zub and drawn by Max Dunbar (and others).  Originally announced back in 2014 (see “Dungeons & Dragons Legends of Balthur’s Gate” as well as writer Jim Zub talking about the project in “Jim Zub on the New D&D Series”), the comics follow the legendary ranger Minsc and a new group of heroes that also includes fan favorite, Boo the Miniature Giant Space Hamster.
