Stronghold Games will release new games Coffee Roaster and Amul this October, with Diamonds Second Edition releasing in September.
Coffee Roaster is for 1 player, ages 12 and up, and plays in 30 minutes. The game releases in October at a MSRP of $44.95.
Amul puts players in the roles of striving merchants. Using a card drafting mechanic and simultaneous gameplays, players are must collect goods and valuables; hire guards; assemble caravans; and make contracts with other traders. Hand management is key as certain cards score for being played to the table while others must be in the hand at the end to score. Amul includes 183 cards, 1 game board, 1 Scoring pad, 1 Card Reference, and rule book.
Amul is for 3 to 8 players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 45 minutes. The game releases in October at a MSRP of $39.95.
Diamonds Second Edition, a new edition of a game originally released in 2014 (see "’Diamonds’") is a trick-taking card game. Players take Suit Actions based on what suit they play, whether they win the trick or not, and at the end of full rounds. Suit Actions have abilities that allow the player to claim Diamond Crystals. The player with the most Diamond Crystals wins.
Diamonds Second Edition includes 60 redesigned Playing Cards, 6 redesigned Player Aid Cards, 1 Thief token, 6 vaults, 110 clear plastic Diamonds, 25 red plastic Diamonds, and rule book.
Diamonds Second Edition is for 2 to 6 players, ages 8 and up, and plays in 30 minutes. The game releases in September at a MSRP of $24.95.
