Saturday Morning Comics features stories written by E. Nelson Bridwell and others, interior art by Ric Estrada and others, and cover by Alex Toth. The volume collects Super Friends (1976) #1-26, the Super Friends feature from Limited Collector’s Edition #C-41 and #C-46, and the rare Aquateers Meet the Super Friends #1.
Inspired by the hit Hanna-Barbera cartoon that ran from 1973 until 1985, Super Friends features tales starring the Justice League of America. Each story takes the heroes on heroic missions to stop evil-doers like Queen Hippolyta, the Riddler, the Ocean Monster, and many more.
Bridwell was awarded the Bill Finger Award for Excellence in Comic Book Writing this year at San Diego Comic-Con (see "Bill Finger Award Winners").
