A Clash of Kings will pick up halfway through George R.R. Martin’s original novel, as allies fall and key players begin moving around the board. Catelyn Stark and Brienne of Tarth are on the run. Tyrion Lannister and Shae have settled into King's Landing, while Arya Stark is still held in Harrenhal.

A Clash of Kings is adapted by Landy Q. Walker, illustrated by Mel Rubi, and features cover art by Mike S. Miller. The series was colored by Ivan Nunes and lettered by Tom Napolitano. Variant covers will feature art by Rubi, Stephen Segovia, and Butch Guice.

HBO announced several spinoff series for the Game of Thrones franchise last year (see “HBO Orders Pilot for First ‘Game of Thrones’ Spinoff”).
