Transit Tees will release EL: The Chicago Transit Adventure, a train strategy board game, in December.

Chicago is a town on the move. People need to get around, and the "EL" or elevated train is usually the best option in the busy downtown area. In this game, players assume the roles of travelers trying to visit the major places of interest in Chicago, and be the first to return to the State and Lake station. Players need to optimize their routes using the train and bus system, and avoid detours as well as stations undergoing renovations. They also need to make sure they have enough Transit Tokens to pay their fares.

The game box come with a 20" x 30" game board map of Chicago's Elevated Train System, 8 painted and screen-printed wooden train pawns, 32 screen-printed wooden Transit Tokens, 12 fluorescent acrylic Station Renovation Markers, 67 Destination Cards, 28 Condition cards, and 2 six-sided dice. It is for two to eight players, ages 13 and up, and plays in 30 to 60 minutes. El: The Chicago Transit Adventure will retail for $40.00.

In other train game news, Days of Wonder will release a new Map Collection for Ticket to Ride (see " 'Ticket to Ride Map Collection Volume 7 - Japan' ").
