Excavation Earth: Second Wave contains four new gameplay modules that players can add to their base game in any combination. The House of Tvntrm and the Guilds of Shennu-jai are added as new factions within one of the game modules. The second module adds a deck of Achievement cards that offer new ways to score by completing certain achievements before other players. The third module contains the Observation Barge which is designed to influence the market and a players’ Survey action. The final module includes faction-specific actions in the form of Wild Cards.
Excavation Earth: Second Wave includes 2 double-layer faction player boards, a double-layer Observation Barge, 21 faction tokens, 7 faction wild cards, 22 double-sided achievement cards, 6 explorer pawns, 2 turn order markers, 44 crew cubes, 2 Zu achieve cards for solo play, and a rulebook.
Excavation Earth: Second Wave is for one to four players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 90 minutes. A copy of the base game is required to play. The expansion will retail for $30.00.
