German publisher Funtails has announced Highland Games, the first expansion set for Glen More II:  Chronicles, releasing in June and Feed the Kraken, coming in August.

Glen More II:  Chronicles – Highland Games offers four new Chronicles for the game, including two created by guest designers Rudiger Dorn and Jonny Pac.  The expansion also includes a new solo mode created by Automa Factory that can be used for the new Chronicles as well as those included in the base game.

The expansion supports games with 1 to 4 players.  MSRP is $49.99.

Glen More II, the sequel to the 2010 original, was launched in 2019 (see “‘Glen More II:  Chronicles’ Comes to Trade”).  Production of Highland Games was funded through a Kickstarter campaign that attracted 194,619 € (about $234,356) from 4,385 backers last August (an average of 44.38 € or $53.44).

Hidden-role deduction meets pirate treachery in Feed the Kraken.  Combining elements of pirate tales and Lovecraftian horror, players secretly become loyal sailors, pirates, or the lone cultist, then try to guide the Instabil, their sailing ship, towards their desired destination, plot mutinies, and convert others into worship of the Kraken God.

Feed the Kraken is intended for 5 to 11 players, ages 12 and up.  Games take 45 to 90 minutes to play.  MSRP is $59.99 for the base version and $99.99 for the deluxe version which includes upgraded components, kraken miniatures, and a specially-designed component tray.

Funtails funded production of Feed the Kraken through a Kickstarter campaign in October that attracted 3,490 backers to pledge 203,923 € (about $245,560—an average of 58.43 € or $70.36 per backer).
