Works by Junji Ito made up the #2 manga franchise across channels in the U.S. for the Fall 2020 season (September through December) as measured in dollars, according to ICv2’s analysis of sales reported by NPD BookScan for the book channel, and of sales reported by ComicHub in the comic store channel.  Manga by the horror master have been steadily growing in popularity and are hitting new heights in the Covid era.  My Hero Academia and related series remain as the #1 manga franchise for Fall 2020.

Attack on Titan has been steadily moving upward on the charts since the anime started streaming in the U.S.
