DC Comics unveiled DC Pride #1, Crush & Lobo miniseries, and a series of Pride variant covers for release in June.

DC Pride #1 is an 80-page anthology comic that stars DC Comics' LGBTQIA+ characters, such as Batwoman, Renee Montoya, Alan Scott, Midnighter, Apollo, Extrano, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, and Constantine. It also features the first comic book appearance of Dreamer, a trans woman superhero.  The creative teams for this anthology, and the characters they are developing stories for, are as follows:

  • Batwoman (Kate Kane) by James Tynion IV and Trung Le Nguyen
  • Poison Ivy & Harley Quinn by Mariko Tamaki and Amy Reeder
  • Midnighter by Steve Orlando and Stephen Byrne
  • Flash of Earth-11 (Jess Chambers) by Danny Lore and Lisa Sterle
  • Green Lantern (Alan Scott) and Obsidian by Sam Johns and Klaus Janson
  • Aqualad (Jackson Hyde) by Andrew Wheeler and Luciano Vecchio
  • Dreamer by Nicole Maines & Rachel Stott
  • Renee Montoya by Vita Ayala and Skylar Patridge
  • Pied Piper by Sina Grace, Ro Stein and Ted Brandt

The main DC Pride #1 cover was created by Jim Lee, Scott Williams and Tamra Bonvillain.  DC Pride #1 will also feature full-page profiles the LGBTQIA+ characters and the actors who play them, and will have a forward by Marc Andreyko as well as single-page pin-ups by artists Kris Anka, Sophie Campbell, Mildred Louis, Travis Moore, Nick Robles, and Kevin Wada.  This book will arrive in comic stores June 8.

In addition to DC Pride #1, they also announced an eight-issue miniseries called Crush & Lobo by Mariko Tamaki and Amancay Nahuelpan. In this story, Crush goes off to confront her derelict father in space jail, Lobo, after quitting the Teen Titans and ending of her relationship with Katie.  The book features a cover by Kris Anka, a Pride variant cover by Yoshi Yoshitani, a 1:25 ratio variant by Christian Ward, and an exclusive Dan Hipp team variant for participating retailers. It will hit stores on June 1.
