DC and Milestone Media have released details on the new Blood Syndicate limited series, which will launch in May 2022.

Blood Syndicate: Season One is a new take on one of the original Milestone Media titles, and it was first announced in October during the DC Fandome event (see “DC Announces New Milestone ‘Blood Syndicate’ Series”).

The new series will be written by Geoffrey Thorne with art by ChrisCross, one of the pencilers of the original Blood Syndicate series, and Juan Castro. The series is set in the Dakotaverse, the universe of the Milestone series, and brings back Tech-9, Wise Son, and Fade from the original series. Tech-9 and Wise Son return from their military tours in Afghanistan to the neighborhood of Paris Island, where gang wars are part of the landscape and another character, Holocaust, is building up a powerful army of his own. 

Blood Syndicate: Season One #1 will be released on May 10 with a main cover by Dexter Soy, an “old school” variant by ChrisCross; a “new school” variant by Nikolas Draper-Ivey, one of the artists of Static: Season One; and a 1-in-25 variant by Juliet Nneka.
