Skybound will launch a new YA anthology series, Skybound Presents Afterschool, in June, with the first of four issues, each of which will contain a standalone horror story.

The first issue, due out on June 8, will contain a story by writers Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, the directors of Marvel Studios’ Moon Knight, and artist Greg Hinkle (Airboy, Radio Spaceman), about Nora, a girl who suffers from social anxiety until she gets an emotional support dog. Even when she finds out the dog has a horrifying secret, Nora refuses to let go. The second issue, slated for July 20, features a story by Kate Herron (Marvel Studios’ Loki), Briony Redman (Pont Brec), and Leila Leiz (M.O.M.: Mother of Madness, Horde) about a girl who tries to get rid of her baby but is forced to keep it… by a killer stork. Each issue will have an MSRP of $4.99.
