Devir Games will release the new game The White Castle, from Shei S. & Isra C. (also known as Llama Dice), the designers of Devir’s Red Cathedral (see "Devir Reveals ‘Red Cathedral: Contractors’"), at Essen Spiel and around the world in October. Devir describes it as the "spiritual successor" to Red Cathedral, with new mechanics and a feudal Japanese theme.  The format will be a "big game in a medium-sized box," according to the company.

Devir Games will release The White Castle in five languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and Catalan), and it will also be released by Kosmos in German, Iello in French, 999 Games in Dutch, Asmodee Korea in Korean, Banana Games in Chinese, CMON in Japanese and Thai, and Gaga Games in Russian.
